Hwajung Song 송화정 is a Korean licensed architect and founder of State of the Architecture, a practice operating across architecture and spatial design in Asia.

Its work is driven by a balance between research and execution, transforming constraints into opportunities and shaping spaces that are both precise and adaptable.

 

With experience in leading international design offices, Hwajung brings a rigorous and cross-cultural approach to each project.

She received her Master of Architecture from Seoul National University and her Bachelor of Architecture from Ajou University.
